how do you use them in there?
first you get the keys from google as documented in the lenghty blaablaa they put out. it is just about going to you home folder and .android where you run a single command, copy that to the website hidden in the blaablaa text and then you are set.
but how do you access the MapActivity class in IntelliJ? Well, the obviously non-obvious answer is that you have to set your build target not only in the emulator but also in the IDE to the google api target. And in IntelliJ this used to be in version 10 in the project settings under “Facets” and in 11 it is under “SDK” settings for the project. This magically adds the maps.jar and related stuff for you. uu baby
